Renowned for exquisite craftsmanship, she can do everything from designing schemes for whole houses, complete with sourcing antiques, fabrics, lighting and teaming up with skilled blacksmiths, joiners and the like, to simply making a pair of beautifully tailored curtains or upholstering a sofa. Commissions have seen Dorothy and her team tackle projects ranging from totally refurbishing a baronial Scottish hall, to kitting out
a chalet in Switzerland.

Based in a beautiful barn conversion in the English Lake District, Dorothy has fabrics from all the top houses, as well as many other materials and products to choose from, and she can put looks together for all tastes,
thanks to her talent and passion for perfection.

She is now stocking an eclectic range of items that are available to purchase on line. These range from luxury bed linens, such as those by Yves Delorme, Olivier Desforges and Lara Fine Linens, as well as her own signature range, to unique handmade antique lamps. From Missoni towels to hand-blown glasses, scented candles to finishing touches. The festive season is always a very special time at The Old Barn, where you will find beautiful hand-blown glass Christmas decorations along with handmade ornaments, snow globes, and
classic Russian dolls.
