With a passion for perfection Dorothy Wightman creates interiors that will take your breath away.

Commissions have seen Dorothy tackle everything from completely refurbishing a Scottish baronial hall to kitting out a chalet in Switzerland - from creating cutting edge contemporary style in architect-designed properties, to recreating period style in country cottages.

Whether contemporary or traditional, country cottage or stately home, quality is key. Dorothy and her team are renowned for the exquisite workmanship that goes into everything from upholstering furniture to creating curtains, embroidery, beadwork and unusual stitching, but she is best known for creating complete interiors, sourcing antiques, fabrics and lighting, and teaming up with skilled blacksmiths, joiners and hand painters to achieve stunning results.

Starting her business from the table of her farmhouse kitchen, Dorothy now works with a team of ten from a beautiful barn conversion near Kirkby Lonsdale on the outskirts of the English Lake District.

Here she has fabrics from all the best houses to choose from as well as an eclectic collection of items for the home, including antique furniture, unique glass Christmas decorations and elegant lamps.

Her knowledge is encyclopaedic, but she still retains her down-to-earth character, working with clients at every stage to develop their ideas and aspirations into finished schemes.
