It’s almost time to once again celebrate Christmas. Whether you are playing host to friends and family at home, visiting relatives or attending parties, it is always nice to see some festive décor that really captures the essence of the season.

Christmas décor is ultimately about bringing a wonderfully festive atmosphere into your home. This can be achieved through traditional decorations making your Christmas interior rich and warm with holly, wreaths, candles and luxury.
Or you may prefer a more contemporary feel with bright colours, minimalism or perhaps a white Christmas tree for your showstopper? Maybe you can combine the two to get the best of both worlds; the ability to bring festive interiors into any room is open to endless opportunity.

There are many ways to inject some festive spirit into your home, of course starting with a Christmas tree, which can be adorned with a selection of decorations and twinkling lights. Other options can include Christmas scented candles, joyful table decorations can be easily put together and festive printed fabrics can be used as table runners and cushions. Here at Dorothy Wightman interiors we really love the traditional country cottage feel with roaring fires, rich fabrics and deep beautiful autumnal colours.
