Sales from this site are for UK residents only. In listing your place of residence and delivery address in our order form, you are confirming that you are a resident of the UK, a confirmation on which we rely prior to accepting your offer to purchase our advertised goods and services.

Unless specified to the contrary, the contents of this website and these pages are protected by copyright and no part of them may be reproduced in any form or used in any other way, except with Dorothy Wightman’s prior written permission, or in accordance with the next term set out below. You may print off or download the visible text on the site for personal non-commercial purposes but it may not be used for any other purpose. Further, you may not reproduce any other part of the website, including but not limited to the structure, overall style and program code.

Dorothy Wightman is providing this site on an 'as is' basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. In addition, Dorothy Wightman makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site. The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. None of the exclusions and limitations in the above clause are intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under local law, or other statutory rights which may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit Dorothy Wightman’s liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or agents.

Dorothy Wightman does not warrant that your use of the site will not infringe third party rights, nor that use of this site or materials downloaded from it will not cause computer virus infection or other damage to property. It is a condition of use of all or any of the site that use is at the user's own risk. This site may include links to other sites on the World Wide Web. We are not responsible for such sites and cannot vouch for their suitability or accuracy of content. You link to them at your own risk.

All trademarks, brand names, product names, titles and copyrights used in this site are the property of their respective holders. No permission is given by Dorothy Wightman in respect of the use of any of them and such use may constitute an infringement of the holder's rights.

The Contract
Dorothy Wightman must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. All payments shall be made in Sterling. Once payment has been received, Dorothy Wightman will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Dorothy Wightman's acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding Contract between you and Dorothy Wightman. No variation of the Contract shall have effect unless agreed in writing by you and Dorothy Wightman.

Price and Payment
The prices payable for the Goods that you order are as set out in the Website, and where appropriate are inclusive of VAT. You will be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Price and availability of goods is subject to change without notice.

Dorothy Wightman accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Maestro credit/debit card payment.

An order confirmation will be sent by email on or before (but no later than) delivery of your good(s).

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted on your computer when the order is placed using 40 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any of the Website.

You are entitled to cancel any payment due to be made in respect of your order in the event that you discover that your card has been used fraudulently by any unauthorised person to buy goods under this Contract. Your card issuer will be liable to re-credit your debit, credit or payment card in respect of any sums already paid.

If you do discover that fraudulent use has been made of your card you should immediately notify both Dorothy Wightman and your card company with full details.

Dorothy Wightman reserves the right to cancel this Contract if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered. You will be notified by e-mail and we will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and Dorothy Wightman will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Liability
All good(s) are sold in accordance with Dorothy Wightman's specification contained in the Website.

Dorothy Wightman warrants that the good(s) will correspond with their specification in the website but does not make any other promises or warranties about the good(s).

Dorothy Wightman shall be under no liability under the above warranty (or any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if the total price for the Good(s) has not been paid.

If the Goods Dorothy Wightman deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Dorothy Wightman shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within 7 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, Dorothy Wightman shall have no liability to you unless you notify Dorothy Wightman of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:
* to make good any shortage or non-delivery.
* to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective.
* to refund the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way Dorothy Wightman choose.

Save as precluded by statutory law, Dorothy Wightman will not be liable to you for any indirect orconsequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to Dorothy Wightman under this condition. Dorothy Wightman shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the Goods in question.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of Dorothy Wightman’s goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. Dorothy Wightman makes no representation and accepts no liability in respect of the export or import of the Goods you purchase.

Dorothy Wightman shall accept no liability for the use of the good(s) by you other than in accordance with Dorothy Wightman's instructions.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer neither under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

You will indemnify Dorothy Wightman against all loss, damages, costs and expenses awarded against or incurred by Dorothy Wightman in connection with any claim paid or agreed to be paid by Dorothy Wightman as a consequence of the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

Dorothy Wightman shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver Goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to Goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond Dorothy Wightman’s reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
